My name is Freyja Colborn, I went to school for massage at the Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts and became a licensed massage therapist in 2017. I love being a massage therapist and being able to bring peace to the lives around me by applying my knowledge of therapeutic and relaxing massage. I love helping people feel better and enjoy seeing the change of my clients after my massages. I’ve seen many clients come in sore and barely able to move their neck or back and by the time they leave they are feeling much better and are able to move again.

During my massage I like to use a combination of relaxing, therapeutic and deep tissue techniques. I like to use hot stones to glide down the muscles of the body and warm towels to help release the fascia.

I enjoy being able to constantly learn new things about massage and then being able to apply that knowledge to better my technique.

I have been asked why I waited so long to become a massage therapist. The answer is an easy one. I was very busy being a mother of four wonderful children. Now those children are all grown and I am an empty nester. When I am not working I love spending time with my family which includes my amazing husband and children and grandchildren (when they are here in Washington). When we get together we enjoy playing games, hiking, camping, and watching our favorite tv shows and movies.
